We accept all major credit cards, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron UK, MasterCard, UK Maestro, Solo, Diners Club, and American Express.You can also pay by PAYPAL. In purchasing from this site you confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or you have received specific authorisation from the card holder to do so. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card user. If the user refuses to authorise payment to Luxury at 1 Ltd, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of good ordered.

Security

All payments on our website are processed through either Sage Pay or PayPal. When you proceed to checkout you will confirm your order, before being transferred to either Sage Pay or Pay Pal website to complete your transaction. As payment for your order is taken this way (Sagepay or Paypal) we are unable to take payment for any orders over the telephone. This is because your card provider may consider it neccessary to ask additional security questions to authorise the transaction which we will not know.

Pricing

We check our prices at regular intervals and these are subject to change without notification. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time you pass through to our checkout. In the event of errors and omissions in the pricing, details or any other aspects of our service, we reserve the right to cancel your order and contact you with alternatives or to offer you a full refund. We charge separately for delivery.

Shipping / Delivery

We ship all orders via Royal Mail or we may choose Parcel Force if the order is large or bulky.

Standard UK posting is Royal Mail 2nd class Delivery and is a flat fee of £3.95.

You may also select 2nd or 1st class signed for delivery with a track and trace option or Special Delivery at certain times of the year. The cost of these is based on the weight of your order and will be automatically calculated for you when you reach checkout.

Please note we do not sell our products to businesses or to individuals for retail or resale purposes, and any unusually large orders which appear to be of a commercial nature, may be rejected by Luxury at 1 Ltd. Or we reserve the right to charge you an additional amount for excess posting. If this is the case we will contact you to advise you what this charge will be and give you the option to pay this or we will cancel your order and refund your payment. 

For security reasons we do not ship to PO Box numbers or freight forwarding addresses. We ship to most European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and United States of America.

We aim to dispatch all orders the next working day, however this is not always possible, especially in the lead up to Christmas when it may take two days to dispatch. When your order is ready we will send you an email with any relevant tracking information depending on the method of postage you have selected. Estimated delivery times given should be used as a guide and only commence from the date of dispatch from Luxury at 1 Ltd. We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by adverse weather conditions, industrial action, destinations customs clearing, or circumstances beyond our control.

Non Receipt of Order.

Please input your address and postcode details carefully at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for your errors or omissions resulting in your parcel going astray or being delivered late as a result. In the event of goods not being received within reasonable time scales please contact us by email us at customerservices@luxuryat1.com. However please note that we obtain proof of posting for all orders without exception. 

Royal Mail require 15 working days to investigate a lost or missing parcel. After this time we will be only too pleased to refund or resend the missing order. PLEASE NOTE : Royal Mail WILL contact you to confirm your claim. 

Royal Mail delivery guidelines must be treated as such and if you need an item for a specific day or date do not rely on standard or 1st class delivery. Please choose special delivery as appropriate.

Please note that we only dispatch orders Monday to Friday. We do not send out orders at the weekend, (Saturday or Sunday) and nor do we dispatch on Bank Holidays. 

NB: deliveries to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man can be delayed by customs over which we have no control. We accept no responsibility for industrial action, however during such periods we will endeavor to utilize a different carrier. In addition we cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions which may delay your parcel.

*Royal mail cannot always guarantee next day delivery to the following postcodes and Northern Ireland and to the whole of the UK in the lead up to Christmas due to excessive volumes.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY.

We deliver internationally and the cost for delivery is based on the weight of your order and will be shown when you proceed to check out. You should receive your goods within 5-10 working days although your order may be delayed due to customs over which we have no control. Luxury at 1 cannot be held responsible should local customs authorities in any country charge import duty or taxes on any items purchased through and dispatched by Luxury at 1 Ltd. You as the recipient are responsible for this. You should therefore make yourself aware of any local charges payable before placing an order 

Care of the environment

Where ever possible we will re-use any packing paper, foam fill, cardboard and bubble wrap that came with the goods from our suppliers.All our brown packing cardboard boxes are made from recycled board. We also cut down the amount of paper we use as we email all invoices directly to your email address. However businesses or individuals may still request a paper invoice by contacting us at customerservices@luxuryat1.com

Cancellations, Refunds and Returns

You may cancel your order within 7 days, you do not have to give us a reason for cancellation. If you wish to cancel your order you must email us at customerservices@luxuryat1.com.quoting your order number, and your name and address*. For next day delivery you need to cancel your order before 12 noon.

If you decide to cancel an order that has already been dispatched you must return the order at your own cost to us at our offices in Wigan. The same also applies if you wish to return the item due to a change of mind.

Please note, for hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns or cancellations for pierced earrings unless the item is faulty.

Where your order has already been dispatched, please contact us at customerservices@luxuryat1.com immediately, quoting your order number, and your name and address. You will then be given a returns advice number which must accompany the goods you wish to return.

Items must be returned to us within 14 days of dispatch notice/ email confirmation of dispatch or invoice as appropriate. The item must be in perfect condition, unused, unworn, all tags present, and in the original packaging to ensure they are not damaged in transit, as the responsibility of the goods remains yours until we sign for them at our address. As proof of return we suggest that you obtain as a minimum a free ‘Certificate of Posting’ from the Post Office, however for added security we suggest insuring the items at your own cost. We cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of goods in the post and responsibility for the goods remains with you until we receive them back at our office.

Upon receipt of the goods, provided they are in perfect condition as described above, we will credit the purchaser with the price of the goods returned. Luxury at 1 Ltd will not be responsible for paying the postage or carriage in returning the items to us, nor will we refund the cost of any postage paid by you when the order was originally dispatched.

If your parcel cannot be delivered or is not collected from Royal Mail within 14 days it will be returned to us. If this occurs we will refund the cost of the item or items but will deduct any delivery charges we have incurred.
